Later, these later buds grow into branches with roots at the base. These branches having roots are called Suckers. The suckers thus formed are separated from the mother plant and are planted directly into the field, flower beds and pots. Suckers should be planted in the rainy season maintaining a distance of (30×30) cm.

The cutting from the tip part of the main stem and side branches of the flower is called terminal cutting. The length of the terminal cutting should be about 5 cm. The cuttings are dipped into the rooting hormone and are planted in beds in semi-shade condition. Later, these terminal cuttings grow into the whole plant and start to bloom.
